Are your games compatible with my console?

All games supplied by Trippy Trades are 100% compatible on PAL systems, unless stated otherwise. Whilst we do offer NTSC games, Games from other regions are in their own separate section.  

What is PAL? What is NTSC-J? What is NTSC U/C? and what is the difference?

PAL and NTSC is the format of a region. Majority of retro games and consoles that are played in Australia are PAL region. Games and consoles released in Australia are PAL. A PAL game can only be played on a PAL console, a NTSC-J game can only be played on an NTSC-J console And a NTSC-U/C game can only be played on an NTSC-U/C console and so on..... 

But rest assured we have games from regions other than PAL placed in different sections which are separate to your PAL games so you're browsing PAL only games! 

What languages are your games?

All the games we sell are the full English language versions, unless stated otherwise. However some games offer the option to change the language to English in the settings.

Are the games Authentic?

All of our games are authentic and genuine. We go through a rigorous authentication process to make sure of this.

Where do we ship our stock from  

All of our games are shipped from Australia, with our headquarters being located in Thomastown 3076 VIC. Click & collect is also available from this location.

Do all products come with a warranty?

All products sold by Trippy Trades come with a 30 day warranty in case an item is deemed faulty, or is not working as advertised.

Can I return my product?

We do not refund or exchange for change of mind. In the case that an item is deemed faulty or doesn't perform as advertised, a full refund, exchange or repair can be offered within 30 days of purchase.

What if an item is out of stock?

If an item you're looking for is out of stock on the website, we might have it in stock despite not being listed yet. Contact us to enquire about availability.

 

Why is there a number/letter at the end of each title and photo?

The number/letter at the end of each title and photo is a unique product code for each item, this allows us to give you the exact same product as pictured!

SHIPPING & PAYMENT 

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we offer worldwide shipping. 

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Processed orders will be processed and sent within 1 business day. Orders will arrive within 1-6 day business days. Please visit the delivery information page for more details.

What shipping carrier do you use within Australia?

We use Australia Post & Sendle for all orders, depending on your location. However if you choose the Express Post option, your order will be sent via Australia Post. 

What shipping carrier do you use for international orders?

We use Sendle for international orders.

Is Click & Collect free?

If you choose to click & collect, there will be no charge to pick up your purchased items from our location at Thomastown 3074.

How much is shipping?

Standard untracked shipping on all of our games is free. Free tracked shipping is provided for all consoles and bulky items. However, you also have the option to send games via tracked shipping and also to send any item via Australia Post Express shipping. These options will incur an extra charge that is displayed at checkout.

What payment options are available and are they safe & secure?

We accept payment by most major debit/credit cards as well as via PayPal, Afterpay & Zip. All payments are secure and encrypted so that your information is safe- only you can see it! We have been operating for years with no problems reported about our payment methods.
